At Jicaro Island Ecolodge, we are lucky to grow different types of fruits in the area. The Plantain, which grows in tropical countries, is indispensable on our paradise island. Vegetarian lasagne is prepared by our chef with fresh slices of plantains that are cultivated in the gardens of the hotel. In addition, you can enjoy these fruits in the preparation of other snacks. This is a fruit which is part of the Nicaraguan cuisine and has 75% water, carbohydrates, fiber and is high in calories.
